The story
Why it looks like this
Inspiration
MPPJ FC, 2003
The club was drawn to the design of the 2003 MPPJ FC jersey, in blue and white. The away kit takes its colours from it.
The flower
Bunga Inai Merah
To strengthen the shirt's Petaling Jaya identity, the club chose the Bunga Inai Merah, which serves as PJ's official logo.
The model
Brazilian futsal
Many small local logos on one shirt is a model taken from Brazilian futsal clubs (patrocínio pontual): local brands backing sport at community level.
The support
Local brands
Food, vehicle care, apparel, physiotherapy and more: local businesses giving back to the futsal ecosystem.
The club’s goals for the shirt
- A jersey closely tied to the identity of Petaling Jaya.
- Open up room for collaboration with local brands.
On the shirt
